Dance & Yoga Teachers
Christina Keltner
Nora Viana
Christina discovered yoga while studying Physical Therapy in graduate school, finally falling in love with it after falling over from Koudinyasana, listening to Scarlette Begonias. After graduation, she moved to DC where her yoga practice deepened, eventually leading her to complete a 200 hour certificate in 2015. Her initial training was based in an Ashtanga practice. Always a student, her class continue to evolve as she deepens her knowledge of the mind, body and spirit. She takes yoga, mixes in a doctoral level knowledge of anatomy, traditional yoga philosophy and meditation and wraps it all together to create slower, yet fiery, flow. Christina is currently working towards her 500 hour teacher training.
Nora started practicing yoga in her late twenties when she was a busy mom that could never relax. As her practice developed, she realized the benefits from yoga went far beyond stress relief, as she began to heal from trauma and enjoy a much more balanced life. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with the Yoga Alliance and an ashtanga practitioner. She believes that yoga is for everybody, and she strives to create a class environment that is welcoming to students of all levels, ages and backgrounds.

Sofia is also a student midwife and birth doula. She owns Kauai Birthing Wellness, and is passionate about creating empowering and peaceful births in our community.
Annie Elie
Annie fell in love with the mind/body/spirit healing benefits of yoga when she was eighteen. She has her 500hr RYT (Yoga Alliance) with a focus in power yoga, vinyasa, and yin. Using inspiration as a singersong writer with training in jazz music, she is keenly aware of the importance of improvisation + the benefits this mindset can have on yoga teaching and life in general. Her ability to listen to intuitive guidance has cultivated a teaching-style that is light-hearted with power and depth. Annie believes in the power and importance of teaching yoga paired with nervous system regulation techniques along with embodiment exercises and it is her intention for you to walk out of each class she teaches feeling better, more confident, and more embodied than before.
Colleen Bass
Colleen Bass is a midwife who has been practicing yoga since discovering it in her 20s. She got gifted a book, took a job at sea as a biologist and started practicing each asana as a way of finding balance and movement in the vast ocean. Her practice deepened over the years while living in San Francisco, where she practiced regularly with her teacher Deb Burkman. After attending and assisting at several yoga retreats she felt called to teach. She obtained her 200 hour yoga training at Yandara in Baja Mexico while she was in graduate school. Teaching became a passion and lead to community for her while living in Philly. It’s been a practice she has incorporated in all aspects of her life. “I feel at home in my body and I owe that to the practice of yoga.
